As a class assignment, I formatted and wrote a press release for an artist of my choosing's upcoming project. I chose to focus on 5 Seconds of Summer's single, "Not Okay", from their new album, Everyone's A Star. I did use some AI to write this press release as we were instructed to by our professor because in the future, we will need to know how to use it in the right ways and be able to edit it to sound more natural.
For the same class as my press release, I wrote an artist bio for Role Model as he's gained a lot of popularity recently but is still a developing and up and coming artist. This was great practice in PR writing as well as in artist research and determining which points of an artist's career are important to highlight for their brand.
